Manhatten Cup stripers

Just got home from the Manhattenn Cup Tournament, Charity catch and release tournament that we almost won. From what I heard, largest striper was 42 inches. Team Phoebe-Lynn's striper was 40 1/2 inches/ Not sure on exact final results, only know what I was told by the charter I had for the tournament. We had a awesome time. Snagged our bunker in the am. Then set up for the chunk. We caught about 60 bluefish, some monsters. and 10 stripers all 30" to 40 1/2". Just one of those great days fishing that come every once in awhile. They have a great fishery up there with all those bunker schooling up/ On the ride back to the marina we could see bunker jumping one foot out of the water with blues right on their ass. Looking forward to going back up next weekend for the ASA tourny.

Sounds like you had an awesome day. I know 2 boats to keep in my sights next weekend :D

Where are you keeping your boat next weekend? Also, where are you lodging?

I will have that info very soon and I will call you with it. There is a great lauching facility right of 35. Real close to the tournament. We stayed at some dive hotel last year, we are trying to find something alittle more clean. And alittle closer to "OFF THE HOOK".
