Guys here is the info thejuju posted before about it:

It will be held Election Day Nov 7.
Entry fee was 100. per boat max 4 last year. 33 boats entered w/ first place winner getting I believe 1700. 100% payout between 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Fishes are not weighed but are measured, longest fish wins. All prizes are awarded at the bar.

Bar is located in WW @ Pine and Park



Team Partnership will be there.

This sounds like a real fun tourney. Let's get a few more Barner boats in this one. I'm try to get the Ancient Mariners to join in the fun.

Partnership I agree, the more barners the better..registration is simple. just take 100$ (maybe 125 not exactly sure) to the firehouse tarvern in NWW (on pine, near the superfresh)...any of the bartenders will take care of you... the torny is one day only , tuesday the 7th (election day torny), its very casual..good luck to every one!

We were in it last year, very good informal tourney. Funny thing is, you can't pass Shawcrest island before 0800. Rule this year changed from biggest ie -longest, to HEAVIEST fish. Fish to be weighed at the "patio" next to the bar. Good luck to everyone, you'll have a great time, that's my favorite bar in all of Wildwood. Can't be there this year have a mandatory class I must attend.:(

We are probably in....as a younger man I used to frequent the Firehouse quite often ...it was nicknamed IHOP ...the INTERATIONAL HOUSE OF PAIN...it gained this rep from the hellacious hangovers that resulted in a 6pm-to 4am stopover

just bumpin this for everyone who would like to participate and also making a clarification.. THIS TORNY IS THE FIREHOUSE TAVERN TOURNY! it is in no way associated with the NWW Fire Department... heres the deal: take 100$ to the firehouse bar (park and pine in NWW).. and you will be registered, very casual fun torny, the more barners, the merrier!...see ya on the water,

You sign up at The Firehouse Tavern, Pine ave and Park Blvd in Wildwood. There 16 boats signed up as of Sat, weather report will bring em out. I got fresh from Fred on reserve. THe entry cut-off is 1700hrs Monday, there will be captn's meeting also.
$100, 4 rods per boat, very simple and fun.
You must pass Shawcrest (the Barge) no earlier than 0800.
Yes it is Tuesday.

The tourny is a good one nice payout for minimal fee also lots of fun @ Captn's Meeting and after the bell sounds.

JuJu- tried to call information yesterday to get the bar's phone number. They couldn't find it anywhere in information. (???) Do you have the number?

I'm copying from official rule sheet.
1. Cannot pass shawcrest till 0800
2. All fishing within 3 mile limit
3. all lines aout @ 1500hrs
4. weigh-in will be @ firehouse before 1630 hrs
5. max 4 lines per vessel
6. communications will be ch 71
7. fee 100 per boat payable by 1700 hrs Monday 11-06-2006
8. 1st place 50%, 2nd place 30%, 3rd place 20% of fee
9. Weigh-in decisions to be determined by weigh-in judge
10. weigh-in judge is George Fox
11. Any frozen fish will be DQ'd and will Wednesday's lunch special
12. The honor system will be enforced by weigh-in judge no exceptions
13. Captains meeting 11-06-2006 @ 1700

From the North take NJ ave to Maple (water tower) make rt go to Park(4lanes) make a left 1block

From the Cape May take Pacific to Rambler make a left then bear rt at light this park blvd follow until you reach Pine about 40 blocks

GSP exit 4b come into WW make a left @ McDonalds onto Park follow until you hit pine about 20 blocks.

JUJU....are u still crying about T.O.'s dropped TD on Sunday ???? The Boys looked like the Birds!!!! What were the Firehouse Tourny results...had a chance to get offshore on PeZ Machine so didn't fish it..............

Yep... Ricky won the tourney... actually, I think the boat took first and third place...

Bullseye Bassman has a picture of him holding up winning fish we shot from our boat at his.... maybe he can post it... she was a beauty :)
