Adam Bomb told me of a public ramp near or on 5th St. in North Wildwood that is open all year. I haven't been down to check it out, but it seems like the only one still open. Good luck and good job on some nice fish you found out there!

Harry the owner of Breezee Lea goes to Fla for the winter and does not pull boats after he leaves, as the guys working there do other things. They are not allowed to pull boats after he goes to Fla.

You can use the public ramp mentioned above by Atom Bomb, but Breezee Lea will be closed.

If your pulling your own boat on to a trailor,i do believe that you can still use the ramp at BZL,i pulled mine the 2nd week of Jan. last year and used it !!!!
As for staying in after the 15th,Just move the boat over to Fred's at harbor view ,25.00 per week till ya wanna come out!then pull her at BZL

I called BZL yesterday to find out about the ramp and was told that it is closed after today, with the exception of opening this weekend. The reason he closes now is that parking is at a premium with all the boats out of the water and on their trailers parked there for the winter. The ramp itself may not be blocked off for those that need to pull out from their slips, but he doesn't want the recreational guys looking for a parking place while they fish.

Never Better,
Are you saying that Bree Zee Lee is not going to block the ramp? I know in years past he has put a piling in front of the ramp. My buddy keeps his boat at the marina all year on a trailer and has unlimited access to the ramp. With fishing this good, we would like to be able to put the boat in and out as needed.
Mako19,
Are there two ramps in N. Wildwood? I was told the N. Wildwood ramp has a concrete barrier in front of it.
Anyone know of a ramp near the Wharf?

I don't know anything about any ramps in North Wildwood and haven't been down to check any out. I was just passing along the info that Adam told me.

N. Wildwood was open as of last weekend.
They do block it with a pneaumatic & concrete barrier is case of major flood tides. Usually one is open all the time. No docks in place. Porta-Pot behind the building. Dead low tide use is marginal on the northern ramp.
The "natural" ramp by the Wharf was leased to a private crabber. The property was recently sold to a condo developer who has posted No Trepressing signs. Enforcement of the No Trespressing policy has been very good by Wildwood Police.

The N. Wildwood Ramp is open all winter, at least one of them. They are right on the bay in North Wildwood.
Bree Zee Lee is shutting down today. That was the word at the fuel dock.
