Haven't heard too much discussion on the recent bite on the CM rips. Is this because there isn't a decent bite or everyone has fish scales in their eyes and can't see the computer keyboard? We fished there last Friday and didn't do too well other than a few dinks. Anything new?
Hey Shadow, haven't heard too much about action on the rips. Guy from work is supposed to go out Friday. Question, being from Delaware have you ever did the striper spring thing on the C&D canal, and how good is it? I was down there last weekend scoping out possible spots on the East end.

BJ-
Sorry - can't help you out with the C&D Canal thing. Anything above Woodland Beach is Mars to me. I do know that the spring run in the Chesapeake at the mouth of the Susquahanna River is much better.
Shadow, thanks anyway. As far as CM rips, what few fish reported being caught I'm guessing are either resident bass or early migraters. Have been hitting the beach hard since mid-Sept, in Ocean City NJ area, with no success. Fish still seem to be holding farther North.
