Thanks,,, </font>[/QUOTE]Both. He's been getting them off the jetty but has trouble getting them in because they straighten the hooks on the plugs. Big fish, very strong current. It's hit or miss on the beach/jetty. Somedays they're there, some there not. They're always out there by boat though.

They do alot of trolling down there for them! I'd like to drift and catch them with metal and bucktails if I go! I'm gonna call around and ask the captains if they would do that instead of trolling! I hate trolling! I will most likely get a smaller charter boat as well!

Hey Phil I think I finally have my chance to get BIGGUNS without the doctors help, I have a boat to use in N.C. and the fish are in my end of the pool (the deep end).

A beautiful day today and plenty of fish. We found a nice school of fish rolling on the surface early this morning and caught about 30 in about 30 minutes by trolling. Then we put the trolling gear away and went to casting with spinning gear. I'm sure we released another 25 or 30 by this method.

The air temp was mild and the ocean was flat calm. The fish we about 1/4 mile off the beach in 25 - 30 ft of water. A perfect situation for casting and jigging.

Hear that skip!

I heard the fishing has been real down there, I guess they weren't kidding.
