Went out in the back today after a wasted trip to the SI lump. Started chumming and put clams out. Had 6 tweeners in an hour and 10 minutes. Used our last bonus cards and kept two of them. They were full of grass shrimp and the first flounder we've seen in bass this fall. We were fishing with our little rods with 10 lb test. It's lot's of fun fishing light that way.

Behind Avalon was good today. Mixed fish 6 tweeners, 1 old slot (27in) 3 37- 42 in fish. Rubber and eels 50/50 split.Top out-going had warmest water but bigger f ish bit at 2/3 outgoing, eels took the 29lb fish. Grass was not a factor if small lead was used.Hope this helps!!

Went back out today. The water was reeally dirty, but we managed a slot and a tweener. Fished the first two hours of the outgoing. The water was 44.5 on my machine.

sorry just posted you a message on another topic. Freddie S. is my uncle, I met you a few times. Was wondering how you did today, but now I see. I was out the last couple days too. I got one today, my biggest so far about 41" a little short of 24lbs.

We haven't had anything that big yet in the back. Sooner or later.

Aimless2, I also had a fish earlier in the week that had flounder in it's belly. The first of the season that I have seen also. Flounder and a baby Tog in it's belly and I caught the fish on top on a small swimming plug. Go figure...

I think from now to the end they are going to be chowing down on those little flatties. I'm sure they eat more than fishermen do.
