Zilch on Bellies

I took the skunk Wed. Got some bellies from Fred and tried 3 different spots behind 7MI. Gave each spot over 1 hr., then tried somewhere else.
Weather was great. Tide was perfect. Wind was not a factor. Just didn't get any fish.
Saw a few other boats throwing artificials along the sods, but did not see anyone hook up.
I think that was my first clam belly skunk.

We did the same today. Up in turtle creek with the wind howling, not one run-off, tap, anything. Called it quits after 4 1/2 hours. Water was 56deg, relatively clean.

Fished LEI last night with clam = skunked. 1st clam belly skunk for us too this fall.
