Just a reminder that we fish stripers on both or HOOKED UP boats out of Cape May and have plenty of dates available and look for some great action on the bay and rips over the next few weeks. Been fishing stripers for many years now and we do offer some big boat advantages when the cold weather sets in plus some comfort on rough windy days. Give us a call and we can probably get you out on one of our two boats. We like to do the combo trips of 8-9 hours and fish the rips and bay on the same trip. We are not cheap but offer some comfort for those that like to stay dry and warm. Just another option this fall when chosing a boat to fish on plus we never go by the clock and if the bite is slow staying extra time is always an possibility on our boats.

Susan Alice with her first nice striper caught yesterday in the fog. Susan was part of the Lord-Mannington Corp charter on Nov 15, 2006

Capt John- glad you got some yesterday and thanks for the calls. Man-o-man were you excited about the big tuna the other boat caught. I told mikey you were excited like a little kid. (Shoulda pulled anchor and headed South- about 80nm) LOL

yes I was excited. Not too many fish that size are caught out of Cape May and that may have been the biggest giant around our parts in a good number of years. We will be going for more as we have heard of some caught dressed out around 460 lbs recently so we know they are out there plus some 500 lb plus swords. Having said this back to the bay and striper fishing because to most of us striper fishing in the spring and fall is what gets are blood boiling and thank god we are fortunate enough to have this resource.

On the new 55 HOOKED UP 11 striper trips are $860.00 for 8 hours but the boat is pretty well committed to canyon tuna thru Thanksgiving Weekend and the 50 foot HOOKED UP 1 is $100.00 per hour or $800.00 per trip. I really like to do combo trips so we have a chance for some bigger fish chunking up the bay but will do all the rips if that is what the customers want to do. I also do not do to many 6 hours trips until the rips really turn on as we prefer the longer 8 hour trips as we only do one per day and not two trips per day. Most of our trips last a little longer and we base everything on trying to give our customers the best chance to have a great catch. We plan to fish the 50 for stripers as long the fish are there this season
