I have a strange feeling we will be seeing beachfront fish into Late Dec/Jan. The water temp dropped so fast you wouldnt have thought it was an EL Nino year but it starting to look more and more like the EL Nino year we had about 10yrs agp. They are still crushing fish as far north as Montauk when things should be slowing down a bit up there and things are slow to start for us this year down in S Jersey

Water temp in the bay went as high as 57 and change yesterday- a RISE from two weeks ago.

60 degrees in the rips yesterday. I think you are right about many fish holding up north and the slow start down here.

Try as far north as RI, I have a couple friends who have been doing very well up there recently.

This is all good news, I'm starting to get a little frustrated. I fished the middle Chesapeake yesterday and water temp was 57.8 degrees.
