Don't fish the area but welcome aboard. Every one at this point feels the real (run) hasn't started yet. Lots of pickin here and there, some good fish but alot of shorts up north. People are reporting lots of bass still north,Rhode Is. and Montauk so get ready.

I'm still waiting for my first of the season, not that I am a good indicator. It has been sporatic, we hear of occasional blitzes, it seems as the inlet and the close lumps are where the bite occurs.

Welcome aboard Acid.
I live in LEH and fish LE inlet and the surrounding waters and their all good. Most are fishing for stripers and are using clam and or spot. Spot run about 3 bucks ea. and I think Scotts B&T is out of them.
I anchor up and chum with clam and use clam bellies for bait.
I have been picking away at them. Good luck.
