Took 2 trips out from Elsinboro State Ramp Tuesday and Wednesday. Lots of fish being caught from Elsinboro Point down to Artificial Island. I normally fish out of Gandy's Beach but overheard netters talking about all the bunker they were catching in drift nets near the nuclear plant. Figured if the bunker were there, so were the bass! Did good both days with fish to 41". Should've seen my 8 year old trying to boat a 41" bass! He holds the pole and I hold him! My 10 year old daughter also boated a 34".

Last I heard you could not get near the Island from the water because of the "Homeland Secuirty" cops?? How close did ya get?No Police stoped ya on the water?Always had good luck thier in cold water cause of the warm water discharge from the plant, and at nite the fish glow,so ya just can scoop them up with your net!! :D

I fished on the delaware side of the channel, but there were boats anchored up on the jersey side. There are yellow buoys marking the restricted area around the island.I am new to fishing that area.I was anchored up about 100 yards off of that jetty that runs off of that little island with the tower on it.Most of the guys i talked to at the ramp have been fishing more north toward the C&D canal, and doing well.
