Got the skunk today thowing snakes in the inlet. Lots of radio chatter indicating bass being caught at one "certain spot". We even tried some clam and bunker. nothing. I guess the water is still too warm.

Were you the guys fishing the north side of the bar? I saw a few fish taken from the south side of the inlet on clams yesterday

girlfriend and i had a short each off sea isle surf on sat

i had one short on sunday. tried eels, bucktails, metals and plugs. the bass only hit clam.

took the boat out early this year, but in past seasons i have had most of my bass anchoring in front of creeks and chumming clam logs in back of sea isle

Had birds, marks and bait fish jumping yesterday, but just couldn't get a big one to bite. tried eels and many different jigs and teasers. Finished the day with one short, 27 in. on the troll. It hit a black shad rig.

Mag,

We started on Sunday anchored in front of the creek at a usually good spot. We even chunked some bunker. No luck.

We got only shorts at the top. Skates at ebb. On the clam. Had one good fish at low, that shot into the rocks. Got me. I was trying to get him out of there. My buddy said 'I can get him. Let me do it.'

He yanked and yanked. He didn't realize the hook had finally pulled and just the sinker was stuck. Other buddy and I could see both hooks. No fish down there. He was just yanking on the rock. We let him go at it for ten minutes or so, before we told him. :D He was worn out, had to sit down. :D

Some outlanders bum rushed a guy's spot on the jetty. Plenty of room and they came down right on top of him. He called the cops. Better than dukin it out, I guess. Policia told them to move down a little bit. They did, but kept creeping back. Must have been their favorite rock.

Did you see the guys in the motor kites fly over? One was doing tricks.

Been seeing those motor kites a lot and today had a coast guard chopper followed by two fighter planes over the inlet.
