The fish are still biting in the rips!
This morning, we had Tom Carr on board for his private trip and it started out slow for us fishing from Prissy to Overfalls, but towards the top of the tide we got on a steady bite picking a fish or two on every drift for the last hour of flood. As the tide turned, the bite continued as we had one or two fish on each drift before heading in to pick up the afternoon group. We ended up with 13 bass for the morning keeping a few slots and tossing back some small fish, too. In the afternoon, an open boat crew with John, Will, Ed, Mike, and Hugh. We picked up right where we left off getting a fish or two on each drift for the remaining first half of ebb tide. Once the moon tide got cranking and the water muddied up, the bite died off for us and we spent the rest of the PM trip searching for clean water and cooperative fish off the Point from Prissy to Middle and over to Overfalls. We ended the PM trip with a dozen bass to 27". Great fishing with everyone, and looking forward to next time! Happy Holidays!
