AM Trip:
Left the dock at 7 am and we arrived at the rips with a water temperature of 37.6 degrees. Didn't think we were going to catch any fish at all. But to my surprise we boated 18 bass (1 shy of our slot limit). We also missed quite a few.
PM Trip:
Got back to the dock and dropped off the first group and picked up the second group without turning off the engine. Got to the rips and caught fish immediately. The water temp went up to 40 degrees and the fish were a bit more aggressive. Managed to boat 34 bass to 29 inches and got our limit of slot fish.
P.S All fish were caught on bucktails again!!
Cya tomorrow.

Hey Skip,
Thanks for a great afternoon away from the office and enjoying the fresh crisp air and cathcing those striped ones. Mine are already in the freezer and waiting for the grill and steamer. We definately had a bonus afternoon with the light breezes and calm seas and as always the fun of fishing. Even though I didn't catch as many as you I have a hook sharpener on order for you. Just kidding, IMO being on the bow gives you an advantage because you can cast in any direction you please. Sort of like being in the yak, you know what I mean. Anyway, just wnated to say thanks again and wish you and Jeremy and Safe and Happy Holiday Season. Hope you can get down to PR and I hope to make that trip out west again. By the way Riding Giants was on again on HBO last night. My 12 year old and I watched the whole thing together again. Take and go get em. Keith the bagman
