Off Avalon/SH 12/9

Out on a party boat yesterday off Avalon/SH. I managed 24 Stripers and a Blue. Stripers were primarily about 18"-22" with a few larger ones mixed in. My biggest was 26 1/2". Only one keeper on the whole boat, but plenty of action. SmellinFishy roped 34. Water was a little dirty, but not too bad. Lure of choice - 6oz Diamond head. Even then it was work holding bottom with the drift and wind. All in all a great day though.

ps where did you go for your 1st anniversary?

we went to canada stayed out of the hurricane belt :rolleyes:

Hey bob, yeah it was a great day. Plenty of bird play, nothing big though. They would break up pretty quick.

We celebrated it at home with our daughter (we brought back one souvenier from Mexico:p ), where we knew we wouldn't get stuck in a hurricane :D
