OC Backbay stripers

Jill and I found a couple of takers, midday on 10/30, in a creek mouth behind OC. Fresh clam on circle hooks accounted for one 25" and one 28" (throwback). I also had a good run-off where the hook didn't bite. Fished the same area on the 31st without a bite. I guess the bass don't like nice warm sunny days!!!!

Just so there's no confusion you are talking about OC, NJ? I fish out of Somers Point and haven't had any luck yet. However, I'm sure that's about to change.

It was OC, NJ. As noted, we fished the same spot at the same tidal stage the next day and caught nothing.

Don't feel bad. The only pattern me and my buddies have noticed is the inconsistancy with the location of the back bay fish.
