:confused:just opened up my x-mas stuff i got 4 plug kits. Now what??
whats next, paint or assebly??? and whats that wire it came with its bent n i dont see how it goes?????:confused: :confused:

Is the plug body sealed? if no, you need to seal it. If yes you need to:

1. Prime, let dry for atleast 24 hours. Give it a light sanding to smooth it out nicely. Wipe and clean off all the sanding dust.

2. Paint, a few very light coats intil you have the film thickness built up. If you are adding a second color to the back of the plug, spray that while the under coat s still wet. This will give you a good blend at the edges. Let dry for atleast 24 hours.

3. Clear coat, let dry for atleast 24 hours

4. Assemble; add belly gromets, nose gromet, put through wire (install lip if a swimmer) in and hang the swivels in belly hook hole/s. Add any tail weighting if applicable. PLace tail gromet on wire and do tail wrap!

the +wire gose through the thru wire hole this is the hole that run all the way down the plug.. here my quck drawn pic of it..

I use a 60/40 blend of boiled linseed oil and mineral spirits to seal my plug bodies. Dip them in the sealer, keep submerged for a minute or two. Remove, wipe off excess, hang to dry. Let dry for a week. Then prime !

hey sic wit it have you talked to keith (bunker finger) yet he made a mistake and wrote your name down instead of mine on time and he was going to give you the plug.... keith iis ahveoing some troubles right now but when he come back on the barn talk to him about it.
