Can anyone give me a few locations with GPS coordinates where the striper fishing might be good? Also baits and rigs to use. Thanks

I'm new here myself MissAliss, but apparently the rules on this site are No Spots. I'm thinking the standard reply you'll get is, "find some structure and experiment." Good luck to you.

Get a chart of the DBay and you'll see lots of shoals and sloughs...these are your best bets! Or follow the Stalker around :D

The GPS numbers posted on the Barn will give you a good start just need to lurk around out on the pond to hone in on them. Once you do keep a log and compare your notes as you go.

I'm one that doesnt' subscribe to the no locations deal. I'll give locations through e-mail and usually on these boards whenever asked. That being said I can't offer anything right now. I haven't had one opportunity to get out for stripers yet this fall.

With respct to fishing spots in general and the people who fish them, we ask that specific locations are not used when posting reports, etc.

In most cases general locations do the trick. In the instances were a they don't, there's always~ email, cell phones, instant messenger, fax machines, land lines, smoke signals, vhf's, nextels, etc, etc, etc smile.gif

Much like many of the other fishing releated web sites

I am also out of SH, and know a few good spots in the back. I can tell you specific ones that have worked over the years, but would suggest you look around streams, sharp sodbank drops, and deep holes. SH has several very deep holes in the bays that have consistenly produced monster bass.
