Mon.&Tues.Rips Report

[VDAWG]

MONDAY----Fished 2 hrs. the P.M outgoing with my son Ray and cauGht 6 Total between Ray and I. all but 1 on bucktails.Ray was on his game catchin 4. Me i got 2
TUES-----.Fished 4 hrs. of the a.m incomming with my friend Dom and got 12 all on live bait,Did try Bt's missed a few !
Caught most fish early fishing the edge of a rip drifting across it before the rip line was made up!Gotta love those color chart plotters.....

As slow as we were, sounds like we still did better than some and that ain't half bad. It'll only get better. Good luck the rest of the season. I'll be in the rips with Adam this Sunday afternoon, maybe I'll see ya out there.

Good catchin vinny, i cant wait to get down there. Were u using weights with yer live bait you were dragging, or just letting em swim wherever?

We were usin 1oz.egg sinkers above a small barrel swivel with a 4 ft. 20# flro leader and a 5/0 Gami octapus style hook for the spot and same just 4/0 hook with the eels.....
Im not sure of my schedule this weekend Phil,hopefully we can catch up!!!

Great job Vinny , The fish always bite after the tournanent . Just Wanted to thank you & Kobey for a fun time on sat even though the fish did not cooperate . Really nice to fish with fellow barners -( Ryan D - J litt - Canyon Caster ) Really great to meet you guys . Only one question - How much candy did Andy get on Sunday ? My guess is probably enough to have finished at least 2nd in the NO BONES .

Well it was a pleasure fishing with every one aboard , Well as fustrated as Kobey was I tried and suceeded to crack a smile on his face with the small jokes .. I hope you all had a good time , even if we didn't place we still had a good time reguardless thats the way I look at it ... hope we can do it again ...

Way to go Vinny, glad you gottem, I really thinking about going down today, but tomarrow is suppose to be a wash-out, don't want to spend 40bucks on gas just for oneday down there. We'll see, it's early yet and your post has got me foaming, I guess I'll go, see what you did, again, congrats on a great day

it was a little snoty,but very fishable Today Just not to comfy on my boat!Adam & Skip killed um!!!!! i didnt do so good today,made a mistake of avoiding a crowd,but hey i have scored many times doin the same !!Hope ya get out soon !
