Desilu 1-7 Wind,Rain,Fog=Stripers!

After cancelling todays group yesterday because of Nasty marine forcast,I woke up early and a little bird told me it may be fishable.
I had a group on standby for sunday and they were all in town for the weekend.
After a bunch of phone calls we headed out at around 7 in rain,fog and a stiff 20knot or so wind.
When we first got to the Rip I wanted to fish it looked like victory at sea!
We had one roller about 8 feet try to eat us up but the Cat rolled with the punches and all was well.
Offshore One started us off with one on the first drift and we spent the morning dodging waves and catching Bass!
We picked at them the whole flood tide and ended up with an Even 50 Stripers and messed with a couple big sewer trout.
The temps in the rips are 50 degrees!
Snichols was on fire today,he was running around like a One Armed Sushi Chef:eek:
He boated 18 stripers and missed a bunch,His secret is a bottle of secret goo,and the sparkle nail polish he uses to keep his little bucktails from losing all their hair:D

Yesterday ended up great but I didn't think it was going to be when we left the marina. Tell Niles I was finally thankful for those high gunwales, they kept me in the boat when those rogue 8 footers hit us.:D

Nice group of guys, even Frank who ate all of my pretzels and crackers.;)

Cyclops....the only reason I used glitter instead of clear was I had some left over after doing my toenails.:eek::p
