Christmas Eve, Eph Shoal Cape May Rips. Caught 10 killed 4 at 30", 30", 29" 28". They tasted great!

12-21-06 - Trolling off the radio tower at spray beach, LBI (50+ feet of water)...had 5 fish over 28 inches, kept 2 and tagged 3.

the boats personal best was a 36" 20+ pounder...I forget the exact number...it was my personal best too...it isn't a monster by any means...but it definately made our day out there....I wish I would have taken the measurements on it I wanted to stuff it even though it wasn't a 40-50 #er...oh well hopefully we can get out one more time before we physically get kicked out of our dock...or the guys sink us:)

The last nice one I got was the third week in november. 25.5# 37" while bunker chunking in the delaware bay. After that I started to hit the wrecks because of the increasing number of short fish.

new years eve 11:30pm... 31" even released it for another day.. actually caught the first of the year new years day around 130am. was a little over 28"

December 28, 2006 at 8B Buoy on a bucktail. My friend from North Carolina came up just to fish the Rips for a few days and he got our last keeper of the season plus 16 shorts.

Neither did I (all fishing on foot). I missed the spring action (wrong place,
wrong time or no time) and hit no keeper fish in the fall, though
I had fish almost every time out from Oct - Dec.

Biggest was just shy of 27"
