It was a slow pick on the 6th, we are getting ready to leave now, and will have a report later today.

January 6
AM trip:

We fished with Rob Catoia, his friend, Mike Kreiger, his friend, Fran and his Dad. We headed to where we have been catching them and did not have the same marks, we caught a couple but it wasn't on fire, we move and found a few again, and again, it was a slow pick but most fish were bigger than they have been, in the old "slot fish" range, and out of 16 bass we did end up with 4 keepers to 32". The water temps jumped up to a little more than 50 and we had wind against the tide the whole trip, The fish are stil there, they just seemed to have lockjaw today.

PM trip:
We fished with Mike Babcock and friend, with his daughter Shannon and dog Teddy.

Once again things were slow this afternoon, we tried and tried. Once we would find them they would turn off. By the end of the trip we found a good rip with great marks and 4 bass right away, we missed a few, it was on for like 5 drifts, with bites, marks and misses everytime. By the time we all had it figured out the wind started howling around 20+. We could not get a good drift and it was over. However, they boated around 5 bass with 1 keeper. Shannon who is 9 years old was an old pro, casting over the rip and catching her own fish!
