The Pa chapter of the Recreational Fishing Alliance is having a fundraiser for the RFA. All proceeds will go to the RFA to continue the political battle that aims to have fair fishing regulations for recreational fishermen. The event will take place 7 PM on Saturday Jan 13th at the West End Boat Club in Essington, Pa which is not too far from the Philadelphia airport. The ticket price is $25 which will include dinner. We will be having lots of good items for door prizes and to auction. Included will be many boat charters, a striper mount, and other items still be collected as donations. Also a 50/50 raffle. Drinks are very reasonable at the cash bar. Bring your wife, friends, or whoever. You don't have to be an RFA member to come but we would certainly like you to join. Hope to see many of you there. 12 minutes from the Commodore Barry Bridge,
15 minutes from the Walt Whitman Bridge, and
10 minutes from the DE/PA border.
From Phila
Take 95 South, get off at Exit 9A Essington. Proceed through Route 291 Intersection,
cross over RR tracks and follow to the end of the road to Second St. Take a right onto
Second St. You will then pass the Lagoon Nite Club, Gov. Printz Park and Corinthian
Yacht Club. Take a left into the West End Boat Club parking lot at the end of Second St.
From 476 and all points north
Take Route 476 south to 95 north and get off at Exit 9A Essington. Proceed through
Route 291 Intersection, cross over RR tracks and follow to the end of the road to Second St. Take a right onto Second St. You will then pass the Lagoon Nite Club, Gov. Printz Park, and Corinthian Yacht Club. Take a left into the West End Boat Club parking lot at the end of Second St.
From New Jersey
From Walt Whitman Bridge to 95 south and get off at Exit 9A Essington. If you take the
Commodore Barry or Delaware Memorial Bridge take 95 north. Get onto Interstate 95 from the bridge listed above and get off at Exit 9A Essington. Proceed through Route 291 intersection, cross over RR tracks and follow to the end of the road to Second St. Take a right onto Second St. You will then pass the Lagoon Nite Club, Gov. Printz Park and the Corinthian Yacht Club. Take a left into the West End Boat Club parking lot at the end of Second St.
From Delaware & Maryland
Take 95 north to Exit 9A Essington. Proceed through Route 291 intersection, cross over
