We fished the top of the incoming and outgoing tide today in the rips with Sam Liebman, Bob Seacrest, John Celestino and his group and Scott Baxter.

It started off a slow pick, we had a fish or two each rip we tried, but then it would slow down, we would move and pick up a couple more at each spot. The tide was very weak. Then we had a decent bite retrieving our bucktails and shads across the rip at slack tide.
When the tide started going out the bite really picked up, so did the wind. We were getting around 5 or more a drift, one drift Sam had 4 himself. We had a nice fat 35" on a storm shad and 2 other keepers. The fish are there, and they are thick, if we had the right conditions (tide, wind, drift etc.) things would have been crazy, it was still alot of fun, and a great bite, they boated 36 bass. There were lots of marks, and lots bait out there. The water dropped to about 46 degrees.
