Any stripers reported from this area? Thinking about heading down for an early trip tommorow.

Heard some guys pulling slots on artificials down there early today. Not tons of action.

Saw a keeper striper caught yesterday just before low tide from a boat drifting the channel between Hereford's and the free bridge in SH. I'm guessing they were drifting clam.
I was casting from the banks and got nada on a fly. Maybe tomorrow...

Caught 2 slots about 24" and a 15" flounder drifting clam on Friday. Was out there from about 6am until 12:30 on Saturday with no luck. We tried clam, eel and some artificial but nothing was working. We didn't see anyone landing anything all day, although we left for a few to grab some more bait at Smugglers. There was a guy bunker chunkin by the banks on Saturday, if you're on here i'd be interested to see if you did anything.

we got one just over 24" Sunday back by Turtle Creek (you know, the secret spot w/ 10 boats in it). Got it on fresh clam while anchored up from 8am-11. Also tried Hereford's w/o luck.

Saw a few shorts landed and we got two shorts anchored with clam back in Turtle Creek on Saturday on the outgoing. Tried the inlet with eels got nothing. I wonder when the bass will turn on to the eels?

Spent all day in Hereford on Saturday? Picked up a 25&1/2 drifting eel on last bit of incoming, then we settled in for some clam chunking on the out. We managed a 31&3/4 bonus, a 34&1/2 and a 35&3/4 for the day with 3 run offs. First time out this fall. Let the fun begin!
