The subject says it all. There have been many times when myself and others have been out in search of striped bass and the conditions have been the exact same on a Tuesday and then again on a Wednesday. Exact same. Tide...wind..temp...overcast or not...drift speed everything. On Tuesday....fish are caught on Wed. there are no fish. They are striped bass very lazy ass picky fish....just put the time in and hope that it will come round for you. There are too many questions with not enough answers.
