Coming off the new moon made some rampant tides that made the rips rather "rippy." When the outgoing tide pushed against the S or SW winds it made the inshore rips rather hairy. Three out of the four days we fished we got into them fairly well. Two days we were getting multiple hookup, one quad, a few triples, and several doubles. Most fish we caught on spot, a few on bucktails. Didn't fish eels much. The water temperature warmed back up from 57.3 to 58.7 by Sunday. Saturday was our toughest day with tons of boats out there. Still marking lots of fish, but the boat traffic everywhere was intense. Here is a picture from the rips this weekend (you don't need to wonder why some boats flip over on these days).
