3 barners answered my post for a trip Sunday. Paul, Allen, and Bill. It was the first time I used the barn for such a post. All three were great guys and we had a good time. We bought spot and some fresh bunker. They opted to try the rips so off we went. NOw I had never fished spot in the rips so it was a new method. I think we got the method of stemming the tide, but the fish were not biting. We fished the incoming untill 11 am and then gave up to try chunking. I went to one of my chunking spots at the mouth of the bay. Bluefish bite offs and sandsharks were the norm, but Bill did land nice 36 inch striper and Paul had a good runoff. We fished the last of the incoming and into the outgoing. Not great day for catching but a good day to meet some new fishermen. I also might mention that I forecasted a better day than the Weather boys as they called for Small craft warnings all day Sunday and it was not what the had predicted.

Phil at least you had a few Bass.We fished up north on Sat we had a very tough time.No shortage of Bluefish though.The trollers scored on the Bass.What do you expect when it's 70 degrees in Nov.We need some cold weather.Let me know if you going to Cape May on Sunday.
