proline express

Help I'm looking at a 02 proline express 30 has anybody fished one before or have any veiws on the boat.

I have a 95,proline ,2950,with twin 200 OB....used it one season....lots of offshore stuff,and some inshore use....I like it...I have some issues with it....not sure the 30 express is the same hull, or different....e-mail me for more info...(jccaruso56@comcast.net).....jeff

Can you please post your issues here. I was considering the 30 and this is the type of info that should be shared for the benefit of the board and offshore guys.

Sure......I can tell you all about the 2950....not sure if it is the same as the 30 express,as FD had asked about......I do really like the 2950..it is pretty fast ....25 knot cruise.....lots of room ....great all around fishing boat....it is pretty good in choppy seas,2 -3........In following seas ,it doesn't handle the way I like ....wanders around a bit.....but not real bad........Mine has a hard top,so when you get into wind ,or quarter it, you have to always be on the trim tabs,to adjust.....also,if one of the people on board moves ,while cruising(25knts),it really becomes a pain in the %$ss....constantly on the trim tabs......otherwise it is a very good production built boat,.....and I do like it...if I can be more help to anyone,please let me know...jeff

I think the hull not the same but I'm sure it will have simular problems I have fished the 26 and that boat was real corky I think for the money and being my first bigger boat it should get it done
