Yellow......
Pick up a few cheap bombers and redfins too..you can buy 3 or 4 of them for the cost of one wood plug.

It doesn't matter what color the plug is as long as it's yellow!

I buy a plug when the design is effective at catching fish, the performance is excellent for the conditions I will fish, and it is durable;)...
As far as colors go, I buy WHITE, YELLOW, and BLACK:) .....Thats it!
Many builders are so tallented. RM Smith, :D and our own Vince "Bay Stalker" , are capable of some outlandish paint schemes! I truely LOVE THEM! but when I order plugs, I ask for the plug in the size and style I want...In any color scheme they want, as long as its white, yellow, or black! :) The rest of the shinannigans seem to be more for me than they are for the fish! They are truely awe inspiring:cool: ,,,but don't ever think that color is more important than the speed and action that YOU are giving to the artificial!:)

Very nice Steve. Many people sleep on the olive pattern like in that blind surfster, but its a very effective color.
guess what...he is coming out with small 4oz surfsters and guess who has the pick of the littler.;)..

white and yellow of course seem to always produce really well no matter what time of year it is. the olive pattern works great when bunker are in the area this. the top image nightstalker posted that has the blue/pink/white plug was my go to color for the late fall and into january. it's perfect when herring are around and will likely be the first color on my line in the next couple weeks when this winter finally ends.
