I remember reading 5-6 years ago in the now defunct,Warmwater Flyfisherman Magazine, about about an area in south SC called the ACE.Which I believed stood for an area formed by three rivers called the Ashapou,Combahee, and Edisto .

Anyway the article said that there was excellent lineside/striped bass fishiing in this area.I do C&R on what could be spawning fish so ,help with any info who like you , must have advanced cabin fever by now --

Questions:Does anyone know the area I am talking about?
Can I fish it in March and April? Is it a decent fishery or sportwriter's hype.
Anyspecific info about where to launch/town/where to stay/etc

Even a link that you could send me to would help

Thanks
Tom

I can't give you any specifics BUT, there are Striper in SC and as far as GA. There is actually an I95 billbaord. There was a great article in the Florida Sportsman on this not too long age

I don't know about the spot, but I do know they catch them very well arounf the Brunswick Isles, GA around March and April

I will see if I can drum up that article
