I have been using the TGT series of spoons with good results. The large Horse Bunker spoon is killer when the adult size bunker are in.

Its essential that you use the proper pole with these bunker spoons. The pole has to be fairly soft at the tip to allow some flex. If its too stiff, the spoon will not work properly. You can see a proper bunker spoon pole bob up and down quickly when trolling.

for lures you can get acme spoons they have an adjustable weight on them,i also use pet 21 they are a really good lure and you do not have to be as fussy about your trolling speed.but as said you need long parabolic rods.if you cannot find them cheap surf rods will work well too.i hear these guys using shorter than 9 foot rods but i have never got the big heavy acme lures to pulsate the way i want them too.there is a certain action i am looking to get out of my lures and rods.i believe you can catch school bass on any rod but the fish from 25 pounds up seem to prefer a slow side to side roll.this is what works for me.louis

Julians bait + tackle in Atlantic Highlands.I believe have the best spoons.Adjustable weight+ 1 single hook.I have good luck with the Reliable spoons but the treble hook causes you to drop alot of fish.White or Green my favorite colr

I have been pulling spoons for many years and have pulled just about all makes and sizes. I have found the TGT spoons to be better than the rest for the following reasons:
1-The keel doesn't need to be and can't be adjusted
2-The keel has a rattle which as many people know fish sense vibration and sound caries very far in water
3- They are made with top quality parts and the powder coat is very durable
4- The 2 color scheme adds to the action of the spoon meaning it seems that the spoon is working more than it really does.
5- The horse spoons work very well when the big bunker are around (we caught fish in 55' of water with 300' of wire out) the fish do repsond to them.
6- They also offer herring spoons which really look like herring and have produced some very nice fish for us.

captainbrian thanks for the tip on the TGT spoons the reliables i am forever adjusting to get them right.i spent alot of hours working with big spoons on stripers to see what and how they wanted them.some days they would only take 1 spoon out of 6. i would have out same weights same everything i thought until i started making changes in the weights the right speed with the right wobble will get more bites from bigger fish.you do not have to get to fussy on smaller bass.louis

None in the $120 range. The best I've found are around $200, I mean the cheapest not always the best. Mine cost me $185. Seekers are more and so are Choas. Good luck.
