Bill-
It is too bad they don't have shows like that in NC. Your clips provide me and my kids great entertainment.
Thanks!

Bill,
I enjoyed the show last Sunday. It was good to see those weakfish migrating south. I hope we see more weakfish this year.

Will do. Gboro is a little far from the beach so LMB fishing is what gets me by--I only get a chance to salt water fish about 2X year. I spent about 20 summers at LBI and this site is great because reading the reports brings back fond memories.
Thanks

You should try and target stripers in the big lakes down here. I fish Jordan when I can bum a ride on a boat. I cut my teeth on Badin. That's whre I cought my first striper and all but put my LMB rods into retirement. Highrock holds agood population of stripers aswell. Not the same as the brine but a striper on 12lb test and a smaller rod is fun fun fun.....

I heard that Jordan lake has stripers and I think UNC TV PBS did a story on a guy who does charters on that lake. Any ideas for a contact on Jordan?? I live less than 45 min from Jordan lake.
I did not know Badin had Stripers--I know that the crappie fishing and LMB fishing is good there.
Thanks
FYI your pictures of your fishing this past winter on OBX were great.

Blue,
"Striper sniper" AKA. Troy is the guide to go through out at Jordan. Check out Jordanlakestriperclub.com. Decent group of guys just don't try to get any usefull info from them. Badin was loaded with bass a few years ago but when the striper clubs introduced alwives into the lake there were masive dieoff of stripers in the summer. Alwives like the temps and oxygen below the thermocline and Stripers chase them down ther and can't live in the lower oxegen levels. Still stripers around but mostly 20 - 28 " rats. Still loads of fun on light tackle.

to use a teaser.
Great show! looked like a classic December day in the rips, can't beat ending the day with double headers right at sunset.

Yeah, I think we had more fun doing that show than any other. Beautiful sunset in December, calm water, fish everywhere. Man, I can't wait 'till we splash again in March!

I would hate to be the camera man on that trip. All of those fish with a camera in your hand and not a fishing rod.
