I am thinking of hitting North Carolina for stripers both from the surf and charter - any recommendations would be appreciated. Where to go, boats to charter, etc. I have never fished North Carolina before - any information regarding beach buggy acess would also be appreciated.

When do you plan on going? Looks like the fishing is starting to dry up a bit down there! Might want to hit Virgina instead if your going now!

I am thinking of going around March 5 or March 11th, will probably wait and see what the weather is like...

I have chartered with you, also Adam and Scott on the Desilu, any recommendations on a striper charter?

I wouldn't go to be honest...it will be over...and might be right now by looking at the reports! By far...my guy down there is DOA charters...but I know he'll be done fishing for them by then. But I can tell you this....get ahold of him now...and book for sometime in early Feb for next year...you won't be sorry!

Skip is right. Was down in Feb. and Donnie of DOA said typically he does not book any charters in March. Virginia Beach should be just getting into striper action followed by us in Cape May! I'm ready!

I think we're gonna have a hot Mid to 3rd week March here in Southern NJ! I got that feeling!!!
