Wed 4/26 Clean Sweep Report

Took a few hours off from work to check out the afternoon bite. When we hit the rips we had wind and very little tide. There was a few sporadic bites but Timmy promised it would pick up with the tide. He wasn't fibbin! We got a limit of stripers to 28# and kept our ears open for chatter of a drum bite. The striper bite was too good to leave. Timmy, as usual, kept giving us one more drift until we didn't get a bite. That lasted about an hour and a half, until he said "OK, absolutely last drift". We made it count with 5 fish, 100% hookup to end the day. Thank Tim, as always a very memorable day.

great goin' guys. Barry sorry i didnt get back to ya on the phone call. i got it yesterday morning(phone was off). I was out there as well with Stalker..we had a pick on drum and 1 bass.
I think we boated 10 drum and the one bass @ 31". when the tide slacked @ 830 we packed it in.

What did Timmy do yesterday. Saw him going that way in the ealry evening from Tussy's area? We had planned to do it also but the drum bite started and we stuck with the drum instead of the rips. Fatboy: The drum fishing will be great on May 12th with full moon and there should be some big stripers around and if you have live herring you will have sore arms after that trip
