Plenty of fish caught on the flats today! Largest was 37". Had one monster break off at the boat, and another monster try to inhale a smaller striper next to the boat as I reeled him in. All fish caught on Chartruese BKD's during the incoming tide.
The water was crystal clear and 48 degrees ... I hope this storm tomorrow doesn't muddy things up to bad.

Great news, but ....... it's raining now, heavy rains over an inch, and the Susquehanna is predicted to raise 2' so the stinkin' brown water will screw the flats up again!! I really hate it when the flats looks like a cesspool.
This makes me sick, and this crappy cold spell, I hope it doesn't snow again! Another week or so and things just might break loose.

Not the worst spring ever! Fish are there right now, and big ones.
four years ago the entire season was washed out. This year we have fish. Now if the stinkin weather would cooperate we could all get out there and harrass 'em.

Nice report croixboy and sounds like a good day:)
I've never used BKD's, any difference in the action/technique from using Bass Assasin's:confused:

DMB16,
They are very similar to Bass Assasins, but they last longer (tougher), and less expensive. When you start losing lures to the rock piles, blues, or just getting chewed up by stripers ... it starts to add up. Many people prefer Bass Assasin which without a doubt is a great lure. But I tried the BKD and prefer them over the BA's. I buy them buy the 100 bag ... here is where you get them.
