View Full Version : STALKER 4/12 Weather people suck!

We listened to NOAA and heard the forcast of SE 30kt, with gusts to 40 for yesterday, and obviously canceled our trips. Woke up to no wind and glassy conditions. Unfortunatly we couldn't get the guys down here on time.

We had one brave soul, Joe, who made it down by 2PM along with my neighbor, and Chris. We fished for about 3 hours and boated a little over 20 fish to 29", the water temp came up a degree since yesterday, and we marked lots of fish, and saw lots of gannets flying around. The breeze picked up a little along with a nice ground swell, when we got back to the dock the wind died, it was warm, and sunny.

even ended the day with a cool rainbow!

Glad ya missed the thunderstorm that cause the rainbow. We were training dogs and got soaked to the bone :(

They also get it wrong the other way. I don't know which is worse. Well, with water temps in the 40s, I think i do know which is worse.

and they are saying its gonna lay back down tomorrow :D, then get nasty again sunday......with a massive front approaching......me hopes they bite like crazy tomorrow

Wind's are going to lay down tonight because The Real Clamman says so ;)

I'm a pilot and deal with NOAA every day, they are right most of the time but I think it's the only job you can have and be wrong 50% of the time and still have a job! wet lines and drag sceaming!
