What happened to barn sponsor/charter "PopPop?"

Wasn't it really soon this guy was putting up good catches of big bass up the Del. River? Maybe I have the name wrong?

pops charters is his name. I fished with him last year and i lost his number. He has a real nice 24' grady. On our trip my son landed a nice fat 40" bass that went around 20lbs or so. If anybody has any info on what he is doing let me know.
