Been there a few times, very good fishing in that area. Guess you will have to see how the water is flowing and water tempatures are at that time. Find some deep holes and you will get them. Do you have a water thermo? A slight drop in water temps on the stream will hold some fish.

In that area any stream is usually good, you might even want to stop along some small streams you see and give them a shot. I have found some of my best locations doing that. I said it before it is amazing how many streams get pasted up because they aren't mentioned on the web or fishing report. My biggest trout to date was in a no-name stream, and have had many 40 plus fish days on these streams.

I've caught trout in Pine creek in July.
I do not remeber what the smallmouth fishing was like.

It's a nice area.

You want to fish:Little Pine Creek;Pine Creek;Slate Run;Cedar Run.

Buy a book by Charles Meck:Fishing PA Trout Streams.
Gives you maps ,hatches, and much needed info. You can buy it used for $5-6--it will save you tons of time and gas money

Go to a heavier freshwater audience forum like www.huntingpa.com (http://www.huntingpa.com) and post up in the trout section for more help.

I fish up there a lot--it's worth your time to really get to know the area--it's a real gem

Great fishing up there. Great hatches, especially May.
I never fished during the summer but I can tell you my friend caught a 19" smallie in May just downstream from Cedar Run.
