susky flats tues morning hard find

went out tues morning for some flats action took clamchunker along

looked around a lot trying to find some stripers and cleaner water

found both though the stripers were misbehaving following the lures to the boat then swimming away after giving us the fin :cool: :rolleyes:

finally a taker ! bonus was she ate a plug i had made during the winter i never had the feeling (having a fish caught on a lure i had made) before its cool :)

fish pulled the boga to 28 lbs i didnt measure the length

we watched a striper swipe a herring out of the water about 2 feet in the air then it did the same to shawns topwater plug

saw in total about 10 - 12 nice sized stripers including a monster that followed my lure to the boat she didnt bite though :(

we were in 4-5 feet of water and could actually see the bottom water temp was 58-60

Nice healthy fish glad to see the water is clearing up. I hope to get back out there end of this week.

Very difficult yesterday with pretty much nonexistant bite all day until late.
Some topwater happening before sundown, but basically nothing all day.
I cancelled today based on wind forecast and SLOOOW fishing the past couple days. Back at it tomorrow.
