Hey guys:
We had Mark Mezas and his charter aboard the AB3 yesterday. We fished the crap out of the rips from inside to outside. Second drift of the day, Mark nailed a nice 34" bass. Outside of that, we had a few bites but no connections outside of a handful of pesky dog sharks. Of the boats I heard from, the bite up the bay in the morning was equally slow. Thanks for fishing your butts off guys...much appreciated!
Today, we were out to do some damage, and hoping that the slow fishing from yesterday would rebound. Rebound it did! We fished an open boat with Kirk, his 14yr old son Adam, Ed, Ed, John, and Mike. Fishing was good!!! We had fish from beginning to end, with several insane flurries of multiple hook-ups. The guys tallied in the area of 40 to 50 bass, keeping several fish from 28" to 29" and releasing a lot of schoolies. Great time, guys!
