Fish out of Manasquan

OK guys I know you are out there, what's up anything north or south of the inlet. Really want to troll for some bass, but I'll take some big blues. Or should I go north to the Raritain Bay? I want back into the salt the weekend on the river for Bass is going to be insane.:eek:

we were out sat night in rariten by buey 42 and caught 1 keeper and 3 shorts and about 2o skates

I'm out of squan too. Putting the boat in on Friday. It seems like most of the action is up in the bay but I did read a decent report off Asbury from Monday. I'll shoot you a message if I get out this coming week. Good luck!

big blues pushing bunker on the beach this evening a little north of the inlet. bass have been around for weeks. no doubt that raritan bay is a good bet after this recent moon and the cleaning up of the water.

Thanks guys, I had great luck in Asbury in the fall and the early winter and would like to give that a try but the Bay sound real good. I've never been up there and wasn't sure were to fish and how I should fish. Do I troll chunk or chum clams? Thanks for the info guys.

i know a lot of guys that fish clams in the bay during the beginning of the season. As the big bass enter the bay and the bunker schools start moving around the bay you can liveline, chunk, or troll spoons.

yes and pleent of them. if your on a trailer come on up loads of big fish i know of 6 over 40
