Stalker Charters

Below is the week's report, things have been strange out there, one day on fire, and one day very slow. Keep watching the reports. Most fish below were caught in the bay with clams, we tried the rips a couple days, but had slow fishing.
May 3
PM trip:
We fished with Jim Stanlich and his group for his step son's batchelor party. They had a slow afternoon, trying a few different spots but only boating 2 throwback stripers. Things have been fickle out there this week, one day you are on the fish, and one day it is slow everywhere. Keep watching the reports, we are searching! Thanks for trying guys.

AM trip:
We fished with Brian Cody and his group from Campbell's Soup. They anchored in the bay with clam and had 6 striper, with 1 keeper. at 30".
May 2
We fished with Tom Hamm, and hs friend, along with Jeff Fail and his group and Josh Braunstein. With this being the first full moon in May, you wold thing we would have had a drum or two. We didn't, we had 20 stripers with 2 keepers. The drum should be biting, but it has been very slow. Keep watching the reports, it may be slow because of all of the rain and high tides a week or so ago, which may have caused alot of fresh water to be coming out of the river. We shall see, they have to show up sooner or later, they have business with the lady drum to take care of!!!

PM trip:
We fished this afternoon with Charles Longnecker and his group. We had to give the STALKER a rest today for some maintenance. Capt. Tom from the FISHIN FEVER was nice enough to take me and our charter on his boat. THANKS TOM!;) :) After this morning we thought things were going to be very slow, we headed out in the bay and saw some mark, then some bait, then more marks and bait, we stopped the boat and anchored on the marks.
Within a few minutes we had a bite, and it was a fat 36+ incher who took Charlie for a ride, it fought so hard we thought is was a drum. We had a few more and were happy, then the tide went slack and things got crazy!! We had a fish on every cast, especially the Boulder, he was on fire!!! We ended the day with a little over 40 bass and 8 keepers all in the 32" to 36" range and fat!!!
