5/27 We pulled 6 fish 25 to 35lbs, swimming bunker off of island beach. Found some skittish smaller pods of bunker away from the BOAT TRAFFIC, worked the outer edge for some pretty good results. Just a reminder for any one interested in entering, less than 2 weeks to sign up for the High Point Vol. Fire Co. Striper Shootout all-boat tournament. Visit www.hpvfc.com (http://www.hpvfc.com) for all the rules and regulations. Registration is untill 8:00 pm, Friday June 8th at the captains meeting. Turning out to be good time to possibly showcase some bigger bass in a tournament atmosphere. Hope to see you there, its going to be a good time... Thanks

I'll second that. We were in the same area on my boat Friday, and boated two 30# fish. Real slobs, that we took on Stretch 25s. Four others came unbuttoned, and they were the largest bass either of us has taken anywhere.

A friend was up north from Mantoloking to the rocks last night with no sign of bunker and no luck on spoons. I'm trying a couple of hours out of Barnegat tonight. Hopefully they are still down there.

Still some on the way...my friends caught more 40' stripers last night on Assetegue. Two weeks in a row of Wednesday nights 40s.

I assume that is 40" not 40' stipers. " is inches ' is feet.
40 foot would not only be a record, but likely take you surfing :D
