Had The Dennis Keys Party out for some trophy Striper hunting.
The Striper fishing so far this year for the bigger fish has been very weird with the spring that wwe all encountered.

The fish hav'nt really set up in their haunts and are a little bit of a steam to get to the grounds. We set up in a area that was producing well on the outgoing tide but that school of fish have seemed to move on. After the tide change I made a move to another spot that I hoped would turn on with the incoming..well it did. Once the tide started to move just a little bit all hell broke loose with two to three rods going off at once...fishing at its best!
Dennis and his group had their limit in short order and we left them biting.
The fish were 23lbs up to 42lbs and all healthy fish. These fish are gona be around for a week or two so dont put away the striper outfits just yet.

SUNDAYS TRIP

Sundays trip I had Haige and his group out and along for the ride to fill out Haigs group was brothabob and mako.
I ran back to the same spot and got a goose egg? I dont know what changed but we had one run off the the fish spit the hook. I was baffled by this but the long of the short is I didnt put my cliants on a fish that day, so in good faith I want to take them back out for a second run before these fish leave the bay. So give me a shout so I can go over the details with ya.

Captain Kobey you and Vinny do whatever it takes to catch fish for us. Saturday was another example of your dedication to the sport. From getting the freshest bait, to running the distance to putting us on to fish you guys are the best! Besides that I got to meet Vinny's better half. Looking forward to another trip this fall or maybe some tuna this summer.
