He is 85 pounds of solid muscle
Never complains and wears a smile
Eagerly waits for a stray bait to slip from a net
When a bird is down he proudly returns it
The best partner one could ask for
Now fights for his life with the aid of a Vet
Please send a wish for the return of this hero
To my side for at least another year or two !

High Tide my 13 year old Black Lab is in desperate straights
Amazing how this hurts !

Had a 14 yr. old Springer Spaniel named Buster that went everywhere with me. He was the best dog a person could ever ask for. I'll say a prayer for you.

Had to put down my Brittany a few years ago and it was the hardest thing I had to do. I stayed with her to the end and it broke my heart. Its rough and I feel for you.

Hang in there Phil. Dogs have a way of getting into our hearts just like a close family member. It sounds like you two spent alot of time together, and if God wills that your friend passes on, remember those days , and know that your companion is also.
