I know their discontinued but I see these reels come up for sale now and again and I seem to remember there was some kind of problem with them .Can anyone give me any info about them? Is it worth buying one?

Also they are not waterproof like they say either. Mine was barely used and it had problems, I took it to get serviced and there was sand and corrosion inside the reel. Google Nautil/problems and you will read many horror stories of these horrible rough running reels.

Listen to DJ. The yellow Nautil has little bit better reputation then the black one, but it is not a reliable reel. Too many bad stories.
