As I keep hearing about regulations tightening, areas closing to fishing, and overall grave concern regarding the future of the industry, why have I not heard more from the big sporting good companies regarding how it will hurt their business? Even from boat manufacturers. Like Berkely, Regulator, Viking, Melton, etc. Are they fighting a war behind the scenes or are they just waiting in the wings to see how things play out? Help me here. Thousands of fishermen are outraged, but I hear nothing from the companies that are more then likely due to go out of business if things keep going the direction they are headed.
