Ocean city Bunker

Has any seen any bunker schools up this way? Thanks in advance.

Last night there was bunker covering the whole inlet. I didn't post this earlier due to all the boats that would invade that area. After a couple tide changes in the past they are elsewhaere but not too far away.

Last night there was bunker covering the whole inlet. I didn't post this earlier due to all the boats that would invade that area. After a couple tide changes in the past they are elsewhaere but not too far away.

A year or two ago this same moon in early June ago I saw a huge school of them in that area behind the inlet with BIG fish going nuts on them. Didn't have a boat and they were 100 feet past my longest cast. I've never seen full grown bunker that far back before until then, however the water was SUPER clear with the full tide that night. Didn't think fish of that size came in the back like that either, but when the big bait comes in, the big fish follow.

I've seen big bunker in large #'s as far as back bay rainbow. One year we were getting 15 lb blues at rainbow feeding on those bunker. Usually there in close at high tide..
