Default Okuma Blue Diamond Wire Line Rods.....anyone seen one in person?

Not for me, I've got my 9' Seekers, but my brother just picked up a boat up in CT, and obviously needs gear.

I noticed Okuma makes a 9' Wire line rod, and the MRSP is probably too good to be true at like $65.

    Anybody seen these in person?

Christmas is coming, and while I'm a good brother, I AINT SEEKER GOOD! NO way he's getting 5+ bills under the tree from me. I'd like to get him in the game with something that might last for a few seasons untill he can get the real thing himself....but dont want to be buying pure junk.

I too use the seekers but the 8 ft. models they fit in my cabin . When I was in the market I looked at them all Choas, daiwa, Star, Shimano , custom rods were beatiful but too high . I have to hold the rod in my hands. For the money the seeker was my choice. It has held up well for me trolling bunker spoons they work the spoon well. The proper action (parabolic bend) is what counts. But I think you already know this. Just my opinion Rod plus reel plus wire $350. more or less for a seeker and penn 4/0 or dawia sealine wire line reel
